Anonymous asked: who are you bad match ups in ssf4? not like counter picks, but the ones that you HATE in general!

Umm, hmm…I have a hard time against a LOT of characters but it’s mostly because I have no matchup experience against them.  I’m more comfortable against the shotos and sagat, zangief, cody maybe….but I really can’t even say that.  I’ve been trying to get familiar with what different characters’ jump ins look like and their block strings cause I often just get stuck or get hit because I don’t know what to do. For example: I kept missing punishing Gen’s up kicks (when he whiffs) because it kind of floats >___< when playing online last night.  And that lack of knowledge applies for the rest of the cast.  Sometimes I’m just overwhelmed by how much I don’t know!  I really have lots of respect for good SF players.  There’s so much to study and practice and execute.  And on top of that, you gotta have good footsies and have a good read on your opponent.  There’s a whole mental game involved too.  I’m lucky my bf’s a really good coach.  haha  Otherwise I probably would’ve given up longgg ago.
