Like Red Legend on Facebook! We’ll be doing another giveaway in a couple of weeks through facebook so “like” us to keep updated!  In the mean time, there’s still time to enter our tumblr giveaway!

Went on a date with my boyfriend yesterday and met my friend Lisa who I went to elementary school with : O

Hi Followers!  This is Red Legend NY’s first giveaway before the launch of our official website.  Two lucky followers will win a vintage inspired book bag that doubles as a cross body bag!

RULES
Anyone worldwide can enter.  Only two reblogs allowed per day (likes don’t count in the giveaway but will be appreciated ^.^)

* Reblog for an entry
* Like our Facebook Page for a second entry. (You must message my ask box with your tumblr name and your Facebook Name so I can place an extra entry under your tumblr username in the drawing).

Winners will be contacted and announced on Friday JUNE 1st, 2011

Here’s how the winners will be selected: I’ll compile a spreadsheet or numbered list of all of the reblogs (including facebook likes), and I’ll use the number generator on random.org to chose a number and find the corresponding username on the list. The first two numbers I draw will win a free bag (shipping included) and will be contacted for their shipping information and color choice (Red or Brown).

Photography was done by our friend Jose Vela.

potluckdream3r: I got half a mind to pack up a suitcase full of books and go somewhere where no one knows me to do some self searching and self losing in different worlds.

potluckdream3r: WOW is this for real?!  So cool!  I’d love a polaroid camera that looked like that and where you can type little notes on the bottom border! (maybe with different fonts to choose from!)

potluckdream3r: I’d like to go somewhere where I can see everything; where the city doesn’t seem so claustrophobic and the sky doesn’t seem so far.

Starry Night installation by Photographer Lee Eunyeol

Starry night expresses private spaces given by night and various emotions that are not able to be defined and described in the space. I’ve chosen analogue type for the expression which attempts to install electric bulbs in an objet to be expressed using back space of night by taking advantage of huge studio - LE (via Colossal)

potluckdream3r: Wow, this is beautiful!!

Seems like IKEA are really shaking things up this year. In addition to the previously announced TV set, they’re also going to release a digital camera made of cardboard called Knäppa (“Snap”). It’ll hold 40 photographs at a time and plugs directly into your USB port. While it’s not the prettiest camera the world has ever seen, I do love the idea of a screen-less digital camera that brings people back to the wait-and-see days of film.

I WANT need. Please be available in the Philippines.

potluckdream3r: What a cute idea!!

To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter… to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird’s nest or a wildflower in spring – these are some of the rewards of the simple life.

leaning bonsai // us national arboretum - washington dc // rolleiflex 2.8e

the shape of this bonsai was really interesting… first is that it’s seems to be a pine tree of sorts. and i assume they trained it to this shape by slowly raising the tree from the light source having it reach down to the light. this was has been in training for 60+ years.

potluckdream3r:  This to me represents all art in that there is so much patience, love and inspiration involved.  A wonderful reminder for this rainy, dreary morning.
